The gigantic game pieces were fabricated by Darlene’s husband John and their daughter Erinn. The pieces are to scale for the board, and they were made from wire lath and mortar and plaster. They weigh about 100 pounds each.  Three pieces were made; the shoe, the thimble and the iron.
