It took her 4 years to build up the courage to begin the project and 5 months to complete it. Darlene does not Paint when she is on a tile project and the painting that she did after the fire place hangs to the left of it and is called "Bla"...go figure.

They weigh about 100 pounds each. Three pieces were made; the shoe, the thimble and the iron.
